An ambitious design studio dedicated to creating sustainable, meaningful architecture that makes people’s lives better.

We’re here to empower our people and deliver the highest quality service for our clients. We do that by challenging the status quo and pioneering progressive working practices to discover new and better ways of doing things. All while bringing joy to the design process – because we need more joy!

We work with good people who share our values to create authentic places full of purpose. Our team has designed and delivered housing schemes, extensions and refurbishments to private homes, workspaces, art galleries and museums, community spaces, retail fit-outs, pop-ups and more.

Clients trust us because we’re positive and listen carefully, helping to solve problems with inventive, intelligent design that focuses on quality and makes the most of their money. (Believe us when we say our clients’ money is always on our mind). And we never waste their time, drawing on our experience to offer honest, straightforward advice that gets to the heart of it.

And because we really care about our people and the built environment, we’re on course for B-Corp certification, operate a four-day week (our well-rested team is an energised team) and are dedicated to diversifying the architectural workforce.

Andy Matthews

Director

Andy wants to continually improve our knowledge, services and ways of working so we can do better for our people, clients and their projects. In his own words: "I really give a sh*t."

He combines pragmatism and technical ability with relentless curiosity and ingenuity to add value throughout the design process, from that initial sketch to solving problems on site. And he's passionate about collaboration – real collaboration. Because it's only by working with the people who will be using the buildings for years to come that we will leave the built environment better than we found it.

The architecture business can be challenging, and Andy believes in celebrating others' success and champions sharing knowledge and experience beyond our studio to benefit the profession.

He's worked on housing schemes, education buildings, retail fit-outs, art galleries, museums, workspace and heritage projects, putting together and leading big, complex teams. He's recently been working with Tracksmith (the international running brand) on the fit-out of their new London store and Streatham and Marlborough Cricket Club in Dulwich.
