President’s Day 2025, Streatham and Marlborough Cricket Club

We will be on site from 11 am on Sunday the 24th August with a presentation of the pavilion project. We will be giving tours of the new pavilion from 1 pm (ish) with our lovely contractor, Brown Building.

The club notes that this is the “best club day of the year” and will include “a six-a-side cricket tournament, the coach’s Secret Rum Punch (we’re keen to try this, but also a little scared) and a pitch side bar and with food available to purchase.”

“Friends, family, plus-ones and Hinge dates are all welcome to attend on the day, and the cricket is open to all players - men and women and juniors - who are comfortable playing senior cricket.”

The men’s club captain, Dan Ellis, noted the below in his recent update email to all club members:

“I was fortunate enough to get a quick tour on site and can confirm the space is magnificent. The new building offers clear views of both pitches, and we are creating a large patio area which connects directly from the main club room, offering one big connected social space. On President’s Day the architect and contractor will be at the club and we hope to provide some small group tours for you all to see the progress”

Pop along and say hello if you’re in the area, and fingers crossed for nice weather! The pavilion is located at Streatham & Marlborough Cricket Club, Dulwich Common, London, SE21 7EX.
