The Velo Barn 2.0

Keeping the wheels rolling

We're collaborating with the wonderful folks at The Velo Barn to develop a vision for the future of this much-loved bike workshop and cycling café at Betsoms Farm on Pilgrims' Way in Kent. We're providing our services pro bono, helping them expand, enhance their retail offer and open up their café to the wider community.

Space/Off - We've replanned spaces around a generous shared courtyard and designed a new café layout and entrance sequence.

Come together - The expanded café and courtyard provide plenty of space for everyone (not just cyclists) to stop by for coffee and cake.

Talk shop - Using our retail expertise, we've designed characterful spaces to entice people through the doors.

Fresh flow - We know that happy, caffeinated customers keep coming back, so we've improved the flow in the café to serve more people more efficiently.

The Velo Barn is a self-funded project, with Mark, Steve and Pat doing all the building work themselves. They are currently crowdfunding, so if you'd like to support them, head to thevelobarn.co.uk and check out the rewards for donating.
