Working Time Council: Pilot Meeting

Andy recently attended the Four Day Week Campaign Working Time Council Pilot Meeting at The Palace of Westminster. The event was titled Working Time Council: Reclaiming time and making the case for a four-day, 32-hour week with no loss of pay.

A great deal of discussion was had as to how to increase adoption of the four day week over all working environments in the UK. Following the group discussion a panel of speakers gave their views and input to the discussion, all of which were superb. You can read more about our four day week here.

The speakers included:

  • Peter Dowd - MP for Bootle

  • Ruby Alden-Gibson - PCS National Secretary

  • Grace Western - The Autonomy Institute

  • Brendan Burchell - University of Cambridge

  • Charlotte Rae - University of Sussex

  • Geoff Slaughter - Brandpipe

  • Paul Oliver - Citizens Advice Gateshead

  • Grant Atkins - Bimble Solar
